Shiloh & Mauricio’s Bright Cultural Fusion Wedding in the Sierra Foothills
Shiloh & Mauricio's October wedding was one that I'll always look back fondly on, because the day was filled with so much love, care, and attention to detail (and many personal touches!).
The two got married last October in a celebration brimming with joy, and I was honored they chose me to coordinate their day!
Continue reading for all of the personal touches that made the celebration so sweet.

The Venue
Shiloh & Mauricio began their wedding day with a heartfelt ceremony at St. Theresa of Avila, surrounded by the family and friends who have walked alongside them through every chapter of their love story. After exchanging vows, the celebration moved to the Flower Farm Inn in Loomis for an evening cocktail hour and reception that felt every bit as joyful as the couple themselves.
Tucked into the rolling foothills of Placer County, the Flower Farm made the perfect backdrop for their colorful wedding. Lush gardens, winding pathways, and the farm’s natural charm brought a relaxed, romantic warmth to the evening, and the setting’s vibrant blooms echoed the bold, cheerful palette Shiloh & Mauricio chose for their day. As the evening rolled in, guests mingled over cocktails before gathering for an evening of dinner, dancing, and celebration.
It was a day that blended timeless tradition with a fresh, garden-party spirit, and a beautiful reflection of the couple at its heart.

The Details
Every wedding tells a story, and Shiloh & Mauricio filled theirs with thoughtful, personal touches that made the day unmistakably their own.
Mismatched Glass Goblets
Long before the first invitation went out, Shiloh & Mauricio began thrifting vintage glass goblets with their guests in mind. Collected piece by piece over the course of a year, each one was a little different from the last, and together they brought a charming, eclectic sparkle to every table. At the end of the night, guests took their goblets home as favors: a keepsake chosen with love.
The Table Number Tiles
Rather than traditional table cards, the couple chose hand-selected tiles to mark each table, an artful detail that added texture, color, and a touch of whimsy to the reception décor.
The Florals
The blooms lining the walkway from cocktail hour into the reception weren’t simply arrangements. They were living potted plants, each one waiting to go home with a guest at the end of the evening. It was a lovely way to let the beauty of the day continue to grow long after the last dance.
The Father of the Bride Speech
In one of the most moving moments of the evening, the father of the bride surprised his daughter by inviting a guitarist to join him for his toast. As he shared memories from different chapters of her life, the guitarist played songs that captured each moment in time. It was such a beautiful tribute.
The Live Music
I always adore when couples bring live music into their celebration; it makes the day feel so much more alive and interactive. A mariachi band filled the ceremony with music and later welcomed guests to cocktail hour with the same vibrant energy, setting a festive tone for the evening ahead.
Classic Cars
Thanks to the father of the bride, a parade of gleaming classic cars arrived to carry the wedding party to the ceremony and on to the reception. Talk about a grand entrance!
The Polaroid Photo Session
Shiloh & Mauricio wanted their day to carry a nostalgic, old-school feel, and Polaroids were the perfect way to capture it. The images of the two of them snapping photos of each other are pure magic, a living illustration of the sentiment, “If only you could see yourself the way I see you.” Their joy and playfulness shine through in every frame.
Private Vow Exchange
Shiloh & Mauricio incorporated a private vow exchange tucked away in a room to themselves. It was intimate and sweet, and a moment all their own.

Guest Experience
From the very beginning, Shiloh & Mauricio planned their wedding with one heartfelt intention: that every person they loved would feel welcomed, celebrated, and free to simply enjoy themselves. That spirit shone through in every choice they made, creating an evening where joy came easily and laughter filled the air from the first toast to the final dance.
